I had to go back and look but it is indeed missing the lead on one side. I wonder if the owners actually know the lead has gone?

Oh-oh, that's 15 new potential sources of complaint...

I was taking a Ukranian family for a trip on the GWSR (with my spare shareholder tickets) and the father asked: Why are your houses all so close together?
I had to explain about developer's profits....

Only partially. Rural ribbon development has been 'a thing' since the Anglo-Saxons first rocked up on these shores .... and for all barring the last couple of centuries, for the most part, that's been folks building their own.

The loss of the lead is highly insignificant with most of the roof and many of the ceilings burnt away.

Not on the burnt out building. Look at the building bottom left of the picture.

Is that really a school? It looks more like a row of council houses.

A number of posts have been removed, due to the content and they really have nothing to do with the thread subject.

By highlighting it, you may have inadvertently pushed up the value!
Now I have gone and done the same thing as well

I did wonder that, but - apart from the apparent pristine condition - what makes you so certain please?

    Joke, I think.

Mind you, by publicising the fact that EA are keen to secure it, you might persuade people not to bid for it for themselves, but rather help EA to get it. That happened to me in an auction once, when it was clear that we were the best home for the item (No, not the Flying Scotsman name plate :D )
