The actual video of my trip to the North Norfolk Railway without Portillo interruption. Instead of the original scheduled steam gala there was a bank holiday timetable featuring visiting GWR 4270, and residents 53809 and 76084.

 

A celebration of steam over the last few years - a compilation of mainline and preserved scenes, each around just 20 seconds, and featuring 31 different locomotives in 29 locations!
I felt the time was right to re-visit such a magnificent array of preserved locomotives, virtually all of them captured without a hint of diesel support and at times when fire-risk and steam bans were not affecting the purity of being 'steam-hauled'.

 

45231 'Sherwood Forester' & 70000 'Britannia' roaring through Bromsgrove Station with the return leg of the Saphos Trains "Bristol Forty" excursion earlier this evening.

The NYMR Autumn Gala on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September, featuring 4498 Sir Nigel Gresley, 63395, 825, 926, 80136, 92134, 29 and 85 - landscape sequences from the Esk Valley, Water Ark and Goathland Moor.

 

'Waiting for the Diner' - the evening North Yorkshire Pullman, on the NYMR, on the Saturday evening of the gala weekend - climbing up the 1/49 to Darnholm and beyond, hauled by 73156, visiting from the GCR.

A day out at the KWVR with Taff Vale Railways 85 in steam and Class 144 144011 on the diesel diagram.

 

An 'atmospheric' day on the NYMR (22nd October) with autumn colours, Gresley preparing to leave and the 'Light Spectacular' - and featuring 4498, 825, 63395, 76079 and 92134.

 

Follow-up to the previous video, this time featuring the last service train of the 2022 season, Sunday 30th October, hauled by the Q6 63395 - with some atmospheric scenes at Grosmont during the loco changeover - together with 65894 on the Moorlander Dining train and 92134 on the 'Light Spectacular'.
