The weather forecast is looking decent, a little cool maybe. But it will feel more like autumn.

It's a shame there isn't a bit more information available on the webpage beforehand. For example I only know the times for the bus to Eardington because I've looked at the Unoffical page on Facebook where a question in relation to this has been answered (presumably by a volunteer invloved). Considering the SVR is regarded as one of the more organised heritage railways in the country the lack of detailed information on the website only two days from the event is a bit disappointing.

Whilst I'd love to be able to see/purchase a copy of the Working Timetable for the event it's not that I'm actually bothered about. You used to be able to download a brochure with opening times for facilities including refreshment rooms/pubs etc well in advance and there's no sign of anything appearing beforehand. The social media age is in full swing now and we appear to be getting less information than ever with arguably the biggest enthusiast event of the year literally round the corner!

I'm booked for Friday to Sunday by the way and I know I'll have a great time as always, would just be nice to have the full picture of what's occuring available before rocking up. My best wishes to all involved for another top notch and successful event!

I gather 45231 has been turned on arrival so is presumably facing Kiddy.

Just tried booking online for tomorrow (Saturday) but only gives Sunday as an option. Does this mean tomorrow is already a sell out?
