No, and don't worry it's just as frustrating for us as it is for you. Until there is an agreement in place between the parties concerned we will not publish anything. If you notice all the 'press releases' for our event in recent mags concerning guest engines have not been direct from the 6880 Society. Until we have an agreement in place we will not publically state anything.

 

It is with great sadness that i can inform everyone that Desmond will not be running at the gala. So you can all stop speculating about if it will be ready in time.

But all this talk of engines is distracting from the real mystery that everyone has forgotten about. I would personally like to know which beers will be in the festival. That line up has still not been confirmed.

 

is there an update on the list of which loos are scheduled for whcih train on the timetables?

 

There is no loos on the Autocoach, 2 of the suburbans and Freight!!!

Or was that loco's you meant??? #-o

 

The big question is what livery the loos will be painted, and whether the combination of loos on each train will change over the week. Maybe a bumper-dumper on the back of the freight? \/

The sandwich Autotrains shown in the timetable are a great idea. Is there any other on-train catering?

Auto sandwich. Two auto coaches with the loco in between... #-o

 

On train catering is proved by a Mk.1 Buffet (Chocolate and cream set) and the Thompson buffet (Carmine and cream set). But every station on the line has a cafe (Apart from Deeside halt) and at Llangollen you are spoilt for choice.

Not long to go now.

 

And the Beavertail has a small bar too if I've been informed correctly.

And it's long enough!
