    It was very busy yesterday. A lot more busy than last years autumn gala. The svr car park at Kidderminster was full bu half 8. Full and standing on the class 56 hauled service.

    Popped into Kidderminster yesterday lunchtime, car park indeed full and trains well filled. Suspect people delayed their visit in line with better weather forecast.

    In fairness a weather check at the beginning of the week advised rain and chilly winds hence my wife wondering about it being worth the effort to make the 250 mile round trip. Come the day it was more a springlike day with sunshine, a little cloud and a chilly wind to cool things down. For those who also checked the weather at the beginning of the week - and relied on it - they missed a pleasant day out with much action to savour.
