    Video of the recovery:-

I bet this is one of the strangest recoveries Green Flag have ever done. :)

True, but the thread itself was started after I had already posted the original video on the other thread.

Indeed, but in a rather obscurely titled thread which vast numbers of NP’ers probably don’t follow and many with a mildly Vulcanic interest mightn’t have noticed without it being here too. Hats off to you if you always read every new post in this place regardless of the thread title :)

No I do not currently volunteer
Friend of my parents ran a HGV recovery business.

Loved doing planes, usually involved every available truck, only a few doing any work the rest to keep the plane under control

I should keep up at the back? Perhaps I could say that you should stop hiding in the undergrowth? :p The 'Something in-between thread..."? The thread that the OP refers to as "...Not exactly the 'Things that cheer me up' and 'Things that wind me up' threads, but more a case of 'What's the point of it?'..." Interested to know why you thought that to be more appropriate than in "Everything else Heritage"?
If you cared to look closely at the dates you'd notice that both initial posts were made on the same day so no, the thread was not started after you posted.
Admittedly I did post the follow up later than you but that's probably because I have a life outside the internet and only check in every week or so, still, if it gives you a warm fuzzy feeling to tell others you have beaten them to the post then by all means carry on, although, if you do intend to do that, it might help if you posted somewhere a little more obvious :Angelic::)

Hey, I apologise if I caused any offence with what was meant to be a light hearted comment. Why is everyone making such a big deal out of this?
My original post and link about the Vulcan was in the something in between thread because it was a follow on from something Johnb posted.
