Class 31 Owners and Operators

Hi All,

firstly I’d like to say that this is my first thread so please forgive me if it’s not a applicable topic or it’s in the wrong forum.

I’m currently writing a full list of surviving Class 31 Locomotives with as many details as I can get via questions and research. My last part is trying to research the owners/Operators of these locomotives. the only class 31’s I can’t find the owners of are below

• 31119 & D5600 (Both at Embsay & Bolton
Railway)
• 31270- Usually based at Peak Rail but I think
she’s currently undergoing work at Nemesis
Rail in Burton
• 31454- Now moved to Nemesis Rail from
Shires Group in Kinsley

31108, 31162, 31414 & 31418 are currently based at The Midland Railway Centre near to Swanwick Jn station, 31271 the other loco owned by A1A Loco's is on long term hire to the Llangollen Railway

 

31463 owned by the Type 1 Loco group based at the Great Central Railway is currently based at Ruddington & undergoing some repair work to body & power unit.

31452 based at Great Yarmouth for shunting & testing the coaches there

31163 based at Chinnor & Princes Risborough railway is undergoing repairs at Nemesis Rail at Burton

31106 undergoing repairs at East Lancs Railway

31327 operational & based at Strathspey Railway

31190 undergoing repairs & based at Plym Valley Railway

31101 undergoing repairs & operational 31130 based at Avon Valley Railway

31289 operational & based at Northampton & Lamport Railway

31430 operational & based at Spa Valley Railway

31438 operational & based at Epping & Ongar Railway

31601 operational & based at Ecclesbourne Valley Railway

31206 undergoing engine repairs based at Rushden Transport Museum

31466 currently at Severn Valley Railway is normally based at Dean Forest Railway with 31210 & 31235 which are both non operational.

Wed 26th - 31130 AVR, 31430 SPA
Thu 27th - 31430 SPA
Fri 28th - 31207 NNR
Sat 29th - 31130 AVR, 31207 NNR
Sun 30th - 31130 AVR
