Heritage Painting saying on Facebook that they're giving 45212's smokebox door a repaint tomorrow ready for it working the Northern Belle, I assume next Thursday.

 

45212 is booked to do the Coast on Thursday I believe on the NB .

When was the last time the Northern Belle was steam hauled round the Cumbrian Coast? Has it ever happened?

I don't recall it either, but I had a vague recollection that Mk3's were not cleared round the coast which may have prevented it previously, albeit sorted now it would appear?

First experience for our young 'un to see steam through in the dark, she loved seeing the glow in the cab from the fire.

 

The Northern Belle has been round the coast a fair bit, but I'm struggling to think of any occasions behind steam.
