    Return times are advertised as to Chepstow, not Bristol, are they the correct train, or will they be adjusted?

    The Severn tunnel will be closed on Saturday evening. <BJ>

    Start date 19/11/2022. Route affected Cardiff Central to Bristol Temple Meads

    Engineering work is taking place between Patchway and Severn Tunnel Junction, closing some lines.

    Rail replacement buses will operate between:
    Cardiff Central and Bristol Temple Meads (calling at Newport, Severn Tunnel Junction, Patchway and Filton Abbey Wood)

    RTC website now mentions train terminating at Chepstow with passengers for Filton Abbey Wood (22.40) and Bristol Temple Meads (22.45) being ferried by bus.

    Times are also on for 46233 arriving rom Tyseley about 15 mins after 45596 arrives. Also for 45596 to go to Carnforth mid afternoon.
