I have often walked around the port area making chuffing noises, whilst idly thinking one day I'll bring my third scale Quarry Hunslet to stretch her legs there

 

Really interesting read, I keep promising myself a walk around to try and take in the remains of the railway when Im working in that part of the world!

Again a good read. I had not realised how much is now open as a footpath so that has been added to my list of things to do next time I am in the area.
Nice to see in other pages you model of Barr's Court station. We had a version in 00, the station building is an impressive structure.
