LMS 46115 The Stratford Flyer 11/3/23.

My footage of 46115 charging through Wilmcote on the return leg; I was lucky not to be bowled by the 172 unit leaving the station!

 

First time for me to see Guardsman up Miles Platting and although my video doesn’t do justice to 46115 the climb was incredible sounds wise.

 

Interesting, as some workings seem to define every reversal and line change, where this reversal was done under local arrangements.
( ECS at Chester is a good example.)

My take on todays trip. Only the second time I've seen 46115 but the first time I was able to properly film it so was good to see it at long last. Captured at Spring Road, Lapworth, and Wilmcote:

At Wood End Signal in the rain. (The photo I wanted to show wouldn't load, it was portrait rather than landscape but other than that it was the same as the two I have loaded).

Here's my footage of Scots Guardsman on a rare visit to Stratford-Upon-Avon which had some drama, to say the least. I filmed her at Wilmcote Foot Crossing, Turner's Green, and Blunts Green. I hope you enjoy the video.

 

A decent day with An unusual visitor in this part of the world. The Scot sounded very well on the long climb to Earlswood Lakes on the return.
