Fireless on the Leicester-Hinckley branch

    I was travelling home on the Leicester-Hinckley branch a couple of weeks back and on the right hand side of the train (so, northern side of the line) between Leicester and Hinckley, just before the quarry, there was a Fireless locomotive on a piece of railway track just long enough for it, with fencing surrounding it in a field. The look of the ballast and fencing made it look like it was a fairly new instillation (although it was just a few seconds glance). Anyone know the exact location, owner, ID etc? From what I remember it was blue, and an 0-4-0

    If it was in the Blaby/County Arms area then it was probably Bagnall 0-6-0F No. 2370 of 1929, formerly of Procter and Gamble and the North Norfolk Railway.

    That's the one, cheers chaps. I think the chances of re-opening a station at Blaby are fairly unlikely though - there's already six stations in between Birmingham and Leicester, on a line that takes just over an hour to travel on
