Is this the reason why the full times have not appeared so that they can be timed for a 60 mph max loco instead of 75 mph for British India Line?

Im not an expert on these things but just wondered that if it is a Black 5 on the train will there be a diesel on then back assisting??

 

I don't think anyone can realistically expect a Black 5 to take a full coach set up Hemerdon. AFAIK the limit for Black 5s on the Devon banks is 8 coaches if unassisted.

Moving to Bristol tomorrow (not today) from a post on the ECS thread, which I think already contained a link to its move back to Carnforth from Bristol.

Email just received confirming 44932 is taking us to Plymouth and Bristol. Also 45690 has been drafted in to take BIL’s next booked leg from Carlisle to Blackpool.

Certainly looking forward to all three operational Jubilees being involved in varying forms.
