    Absolutely nobody has the right to begrudge Mr Cameron doing what he would like to with his engines, especially after nearly six decades of caring for 60009. Still can't help but wish he'd have a change of heart though.

    I never managed to get a ride behind her. I was at the SVR on the day that she suffered the crank axle failure in 1997. I had planned to travel behind her on this occasion but it was not to be :(

    As far as I can recall, 3442 was based entirely at Neville Hill until moving to the Severn Valley.

    No enthusiasts were run over or hurt in the making of this film.:)

    Aye its a mighty shame.
    He can do what he likes unless it was taken into the national collection.
    Perhaps he'll see some ghosts of steam trains past at Xmas and change his mind
