If we received the application late (after the 6th April), then the tickets would not have been sent out. Tickets will have to be collected in person from the 6880 marquee that will be situated on the Llangollen Station entrance ramp.

Really looking forward to this event. Going next Friday, and hoping to tick off a few beers as well as locomotives!

The ticket and guide arrived in the post today .... cracking guide, well worth the money.

One question. The supplement to ride on the goods / Beavortail, is this £5 for the round trip or £5 one way?

Also which end of the train will the Beavortail be?

Beavertail is on Llangollen end facing towards Llan.
Supplement for Freight is £5 / round trip
Supplement for Observation cars is £3 per single trip.

    Hey ? #-o
Do you mean are single trip tickets available?
If so, only on Tuesday & Wednesday evenings as outlined on my first post page 1. Otherwise train travel is only allowed with a valid rover ticket. You wouldn't pay to go and listen to a single song at a concert so same applies here.

5199 was unloaded last night and looked very smart, gleaming in the evening sunshine as she was reversed onto the river bridge in Llangollen. Thanks to the CVR volunteers for cleaning her up, you have saved a job there!
