45690 plus 2 Carnforth Crewe

 

Railcam was acting up today, so I couldn't find the identity of the two diesels. Did the two diesels go all the way to Crewe or were they detached at Preston to take the CME back to Lime Street and Crewe.
Unless someone knows different I think the two diesels were the same as took the CME from Crewe to Carnforth, and were added to the rear of the Leander move as far as Preston from where the would take over from Galatea for the CMEs return journey to Lime Street and Crewe
