    My car will either be at Langley or Slough and I'm planning to go back into Paddington for a Crossrail back out. If we're late, I can divert into Reading to drop you back at your car but best check whether they're locking the station car park or not after the last train.

    Assuming the website is correct and the tour will pick up at both Langley and Slough will this be the first steam tour in preservation to pick up at two adjacent stations in what was the London suburban area? Other picks up on non London initiating tours such as Lancaster and Preston which are stations next to each other do occur, but hardly adjacent compared to Langley and Slough.
