Should we all chip in and buy a ticket for Mr and Mrs @Victor for a day trip to the seaside?

Ever since VT and LSL started buying Pacers, I've been wondering when the first Pacer railtour would be advertised. It's definitely not my thing, but I'm sure it will sell quite well with certain enthusiasts, particularly at only £49.

Remarkable how things change, isn't it? In, say 2018, if someone suggested you pay fifty quid for a Pacer ride to Llandudno you'd think they were off their head.

Saw this from a distance (the sixth-floor balcony of my office overlooking the Piccadilly approach) and, while I wasn't close enough to get photos worth the bother, you could tell from a distance they've done a bang-up job of the Pacer. Looked like a thoroughbread, and that's something you wouldn't expect to hear about those rattling buckets of rust.

Even worse - it's got 3+2 bus seats and they sold every seat. And people still paid good money for it!
