Beachy Head will be completed and operational by midsummer next year. GOS will be 11th-13th October 2024.

Talking to David Jones yesterday suggested exit from Atlantic House possibly in February for final attention and then commissioning. Likely going to the daycare centre rather than the main workshop, since they need access to a pit but don’t need a crane.

It’s OK as it is, a careworn Bulleid as they used to look. I think it’s left like that for the photo charter on Monday

It does seem to look at home with the appropriate stock.
There’s some lovely photos you’ve shared there.

A few of mine from an excellent day yesterday, all starting off with breakfast in the Bessemer Arms at Sheffield Park. The penultimate picture was the oddest formation I've seen for a long time! Be careful Bluebell that the Swantage mob don't try and pinch that LSWR brake for the T3. It was a shame that the sun had gone by the time the double header appeared, just a bit of light on the Std 5. On the rare occasions it was used the Pines headboard was always on the bottom middle lamp bracket, it just somehow doesn't look right where it is. That's not a criticism, just an observation.

Now THAT was worth getting up at 5:00 in the morning/getting home at 10:00 in the evening for!
Most of the day was OK but that double-header, my god! That had to be the loudest one I have ever been behind! It was such a beautiful, brilliant sight! It beat any GWR double-header I've ridden behind by lightyears!

Action from Saturday and Sunday, including all the double headers and an unexpected 8 coach train for the Hall. One of the best GoS's in my opinion. Kudos to all involved for a top event.

A few images from an absolutely cracking day yesterday, Who said Bulleid's were quite the morning run from SP with Manston and Taw Valley (from the first droplight behind TV) will live in the memory for a long time.
The ice rink turned out to be a plus as the yard access was far better than normal I felt.
