Anybody have any idea what this is?, just noticed it on realtime trains, Carnforth to Bradford F.S. and return to Preston. Onward to Carnforth change traction then back to F.S. showing pathed for 60mph running for part of the trip

    Presumably this is a charter?

A famous run was on 5/2/94 when 71000 put up I think the second fastest time in preservation over the Blue Riband section en route to Forster Sq. There is a wonderful video by @acw71000

Possibly the last one may have been the CME of 26/2/94 behind 34027. I'm guessing electrification may have seen the end of steam at FSq.

So was I, but that was to/from Bradford Interchange not Foster Square. It is getting on for 30 years now since steam was last in Foster Square.

A photo by John Whiteley taken on 24th April 1993 published in Steam Railway shows 46229 between Shipley and Forster Square with a CME.
The headboard was made by me because the one belonging to the NRM was made for the diesels, had the wrong bracket and wouldn't fit correctly on the Duchess.

Another rare Foster Square working was the Bradford FS - Carlisle CME of 20/2/93 involving 80080 93-2-20 6 80080 Bradford F.Sq.jpg

This seven coach train took the loco to Carlisle where it was stabled for three weeks and used on crew training runs twice a day to Kirkby Stephen. These runs were open to the public at £10 return.

Looking at that there seems to be a distinct lack of paths (or in fact time) for turning moves, I assume that Tangmere will be on the back all the way back from Bradford to Preston?

That would mean it is only on the front for 35 minutes wouldn't it? If so why not just attach it at Preston.

I think I have confused myself here, looking at the head codes its ECS Carnforth - Bradford (so assume Tangmere will be on the back) then a tour from Bradford to Preston and back, so assume steam Bradford to Preston and then Tangers on back Preston - Carnforth where she is dropped back off before it pootles back to Bradford with a 57 on front??
