NYMR: 44806 in ; beyond that, 63395 to return at some point (resuming ticket), 75029 - probably not but maybe?

 

34053 should be back at some point (the boiler is nearly ready for steam test, bottom end is pretty much ready to roll...) Running in at Swanage then heading back to Tunbridge Wells I think is the plan.

Tornado:
After two long years of overhaul activity, The A1 Steam Locomotive Trust now looks forward to seeing No. 60163 Tornado in steam as the locomotive goes for running in and ETCS testing at the RIDC test centre before Christmas. The A1 will then return to main line and heritage line operations from Spring 2024.

43106 will finally be withdrawn in January, having initially entered SVR traffic way back in 2009.. I would urge everyone to get a ride in at the winter gala on 6th / 7th as it will be some time before she steams again. That event will also see the return to traffic of 2968, but that loco is already running in now, so has effectively 'returned'.

7802 Bradley Manor should return to service some point in 2024.

4150 more likely 2025 along with 82045.

 

60532 Blue Peter is the stand out for me.

 

90733 a possibility at the KWVR?

 

I think there is a possibility of 47493 returning to action on the Spa Valley next year.
