7029 Clun Castle The Christmas White Rose (Vintage Trains) Moorthorpe 28/11/23

i went to Moorthorpe today to see 7029 Clun Castle with The Christmas White Rose (Vintage Trains)
when i got there i regretted my decision to do so, photos had to be taken directly into sun which was very low and strong
i apolgise for quality, best i could do under the circumstances
even black and white was not much better

Sorry Neil but looking at the images you posted the problem was that you were on the wrong platform hence the shadow being cast by the train. Had you been on the other platform I think you would have had strong side light with the possibility of some glint.

 

problem was Fred i had just arrived and 7029 was supposed to have been held at Moorthorpe loop for 15 minutes, it came straight through, i didnt have chance to get over the massive footbridge they have there in time, otherwise i would have gone to other side
