I haven’t had one for months

 

Sophie-Bunker James is Director of Marketing & Communications. She is usually very approachable. Have you tried phoning/emailing her and explaining how disappointed you are?

 

I contacted them in August and got a reply from Janet Preshous with the latest edition attached but nothing since. For various reasons, the main one being the lack of transparency and honesty with their members, I have now cancelled by covenant standing order. There are more deserving causes to support.

I shouldn’t need to find it. I used to get it via email along with the The TT and MM, I now get nothing apart from a letter yesterday asking for money!

 

Which you'll be getting another one of shortly as I gather a new 'club' is about to be launched - for the P2's valve gear. There's also been suggestions that covenants be adjusted for inflation.

Probably a bit like Clan Line and Leaky’s, the more they do themselves the quicker it gets done and the less they pay

 

Not to mention the keeping the volunteer force skilled and engaged.
(Which has to be balanced against all the valid reasons for using contractors).

Admittedly yes, a bit on the steep side compared to the equivalent course at the Bluebell for £330, but a bargain compared to NYMR's £450 footplate ride.

 

"Premier Dining"... now....."Premier Driving"...do you have to wear white overalls, gloves and tie?

 

It's probably about the going rate but it depends on what the 'driving' actually is. The NYMR were charging that a good few years ago when they did them.
