There was one LMS Jubilee fitted but IIRC it was removed. In the preservation era we have 60163 and 71000*.
*Originally fitted with BR plain double blastpipe but in preservation fitted with the Kylchap exhaust that British Capprotti always said it should have.

6619 used to have one. Not sure if it still does or will have when it eventually returns to service

Didn’t Brussels and Fred at the KWVR get single Kylchap exhausts?
Thomas at NVR has a multi jet blast pipe but not sure what type.

To be removed, I believe, at the next overhaul at KESR.

Thanks. Updated. As for the Jubilees, five were fitted experimentally but they had problems and were removed!

As far as I am aware there was only one Jubilee with a double Kylchap, 5684 Jutland in 1937. It was too much of a good thing and the official report says it lifted the fire at anything more than a moderate output. It was removed at the next overhaul in 1938. Other Jubilees had plain double chimneys, but offhand I can only think of three others.
In addition, REL Maunsell was an early adopter, fitting Lord Nelson 862 with a double Kylchap in 1934. Holcroft reports that it improved steaming and performance, but no others were fitted until Bulleid put one on 865 in 1938 and used this and 862 for various experiments of which I have no details. Of course he turned elsewhere later... However the new cylinders Bulleid fitted to the Lord Nelsons were clearly influenced by Chapelon with larger valves and enlarged and streamlined steam ports and passages.
And Duchess 6245 City of London was built new with a double Kylchap in 1943, but I am aware of no test results as it was quickly removed as all the gubbins in the smokebox got in the way of tube cleaning.

Thanks for that. The reference for the five Jubilees came from Rowledge, J.W.P.; Reed, Brian (1984) [1977]. The Stanier 4-6-0s of the LMS. Newton Abbot: David & Charles. ISBN 0-7153-7385-4.

I can’t help but notice, frustratingly, that you’ve given Gresley and Peppercorns Pacifics but left out entirely all of Thompson’s, which had the double kylchap from new in all cases (A2/2, A2/1, A2/3 and A1/1). He was the only LNER CME to have standardised on this fitting for all of his Pacific’s.

Thanks for that. Post updated. Interestingly for the A2/3 in Wikipedia and LNER Info, there's no mention of Kylchap. Not forgetting the A3s and V2s!
