I like to know this as well considering they are witholding the loco allocations. Last year's Winter Gala saw only the 8F and 9F not used on the Friday yet the Autumn Steam Gala saw everything out on the Friday.

I would assume that 92214 and 73156 will run alongside the two guests for definite and at least a 2MT

Is there planned to be a bus link from Loughborough Midland for this event?

Although the walk isn't a problem for me, having the bus makes it a lot easier if I want to bring my Mrs (who has limited mobility) and the dog (who most taxis won't take).

6990 is virtually unseen till late afternoon on all 3 days, doesn’t put in a appearance till around 4pm, is there a reason for this?

I see that Trackside Magazine is reporting "Tornado's first fire since overhaul is expected to be lit in late January at the GCR before a month of running in over the line"

That's a nice change having a a couple more locos facing North. Is there a reason why most locos at the Great Central face South (or at least they do when I've been there)?

I understand it makes coaling up easier. It's also uphill (well, slightly) out of Loughborough.

I don't know for certain, but bearing in mind the weather around that part of Leicestershire in the last few weeks I image that field wouldn't be particularly solid at the moment.

Yes, although it might be quite solid this week, but not I suspect when it warms up this weekend.
