    On our first day in Wernigerode before Christmas on an RTC Tour we took the first of our two trips up to Brocken Summit. Here is a small taste of what we thoroughly enjoyed;- Wernigerode-Brocken-Wernigerode through the clouds & snow of the Harz Mountains.

    If that was the UK it would come with a Do Not Travel message, no trains north of Preston and an ORR secret shopper reporting you for being on the verandah. Plus of course all that snow means you cannot see the yellow line on the platform either.:(
