    Hi @mdewell. The Ruston shown at the end of the video is a Ruston 20DL No. 229633 built in 1944 and believed to have been supplied to the Ministry of Defence.

    The other narrow gauge Ruston at the railway is a class 20DC No. 222101. This privately owned loco is in bits however, and is stored throughout the site.

    Hi all

    08784 has arrived at the railway to help with our Polar ExpressTM season (thanks to English Electric Preservation Group and Great Central Railway - Nottingham).

    Our resident 08 diesel, 08757 “Eagle” is not due back in traffic until mid December, so we are also trying to hire in another 08 diesel as cover.

    On Sunday 29th December we are having a Gronk running day with hopefully all three of the 08s in action.

    Timetable, ticket booking and full details will be made available soon on our website.

    We hope that you will be able to join us. Unfortunately there will be no on train heating though, so do remember to dress appropriately for the weather. It will all add to the fun!
