First time doing the Shakespeare on sunday and we were well impressed. And to do it for £15 each by starting at Stratford is certainly a steal.

I notice that strangely on the return leg it's labelled as "Pathed as Class 158/168/170/175 DMU at 100mph from here" from Nottingham

An error by RTT ? As you mentioned, Nottingham to Birmingham New St. 'Pathed as Class 158/168/170/175 DMU at 100mph from here'

But as predicted, the 5Z82 empty stock from New St to Tyseley is 'Planned for 60mph max '. BJ>

The Birmingham New St to Lincoln charter seen departing Loughborough and heading north past Stanford on Soar. An attempt to link some iphone footage (apologies for the wind noise) and my video camera about two kilometres away. A naturally impressive departure, with some degree of assistance from the support class 47 - as to be expected, probably - it's on the fast line and a delay has caused the train to be about 8 minutes late. Luckily the following service was already a little late. I chose the meadow near the Soar in the hope the sound of the Castle would carry from the station stop - and I definitely wasn't disappointed!
