    A day out with my wife to the East Lancs Railway 1940’s Wartime Weekend. As it was a “joint” trip the railway photography quite rightly took second place, but I did manage some, even if they are a bit “station bound” and these are the results.

    East Lancs Railway – 24th May 2009. (Part 2)

    The second part of the day out with my wife to the East Lancs Railway 1940’s Wartime Weekend. In this collection we are on the move up the line from Bury through to Ramsbottom and Rawtenstall. As it was a “joint” trip the railway photography quite rightly took second place, but I did manage some, even if they are a bit “station bound” and these are the results.

    Nice pictures John, I like your commentary, must admit I got tired dragging my camera about by the second day, so didnt bother after that and besides it clashed with the 101st Airborne gear 8-[
