94xx in use on demolition train

    were any 94xx tanks sold to scrap merchants and used for demolition of welsh lines? some body posted this on faceache earlier and its location is wrong but its quite an interesting photo.... ( lack of numberplates and hose ontop of boiler)

    Unfortunately it's a 'private' group so the rest of us can't see it ........ however, 9480 (wdn.4.65) was used by the contractors lifting part of the former RS&B line in 1966 - so maybe this is the one. Also 9424 was used on open cast sites for about a year after withdrawal from BR.
