Vintage Trains 2024

Anyone travelling on Wednesday? We haven't had our confirmation Ticket Letter email. The website has still only got the approximate timings. Rather different timings are showing on RTT but got nowt from VT.

I only got my confirmation email for last Wednesday's trip late on the preceding Sunday evening, so wouldn't worry just yet.

The RTT times do seem rather more sociable than the proposed timings.. Normally it ends up the other way around!

 

I believe 5043 tomorrow on the White Rose job.

No more brooding cooling towers of Ferrybridge "C" looming in the background anymore.

So are they running with a further CDL exemption or is the stock fitted now, from pictures can't see any obvious external indicators lights but are such things compulsory?

5043 en-route to York this morning, sadly the sun only came out 10 minutes later.
