No.15 looks superb in proper livery - shame about the vac pipe down the side of the tank though. I planned to visit knowing it was on the freight with the 9F and hall but house painting has unfortunately taken priority... Anyone got any video of the freights?

    Cheers,

Yes, but as I'm filming over the next couple of days, oh and it's half term, I doubt as though they'll be on youtube this week.

Hope the rain keeps off tomorrow.

Visited the line on Saturday and had a very enjoyable day. 15 made a fantastic noise and looked the part too. Olton Hall looked good aswell. Travelled behind 5972 from Cheltenham to Winchcombe and was very surprised as the Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane flew right over the top of us, definitely one of the most impressive sights I have ever seen.
    Thanks to everyone involved.

Thanks Rick for your comments but I have to say your pictures are first rate and a good lesson to anybody starting out and wanting to know how to photograph a Gala. I am very jealous of some of your pictures you actually seemed to get locos working! Well done and I suggest anyone who has not visited your site should do so.

Thanks to all those that have posted their photos and videos of the event on here. I for one have thoroughly enjoyed looking at them! Looks like the event was a great success with nearly 5,000 people visiting =D> . This is excellent news as its well above the benchmark for a good gala at the GWSR which is around 1,000 people a day attending.

Congratulations Bill on lovely videos of the lovely loco Martello and also confirmation of what a beautifully scenic line the GWSR is.
