The annual festival takes place in April as usual with the parallel run up the ramp the highlight as ever, relatively cheap fares, often book on the day plus local narrow gauge, funicular and tram, no access issues for lineside, well worth a trip.

Always been good value compared to UK, and open window access is rather easier, the evening loco presentation can be viewed from the road bridge which overlooks the turntable for those who want to save on that too ! Anyone going should add a couple of days for the narrow gauge as well.
