The mild irony of LSL stepping to catch some good PR off WCRC burning up some others goodwill isnt lost on me.

I'm not gonna lie. 61306 is a more of a visitor.

Why have WCRC burnt up goodwill? Seems to me they are providing a revenue stream (subject to checks) to the loco group.

Poorly worded but WCRC gets to take the flak for Tornado being pulled while LSL can paint itself as a hero.

I understand the difficulties, but it would be good to have a timetable soon.

That's a shame the only double headed Spam Cans of the 3 days is now Sunday morning 10:05 from Bury, which is before i can get there by Train & Tram from Yorkshire (1st train on a Sunday is 9am from Huddersfield to Man Vic) then a tram to Bury

Thanks Lee, opens up a few more shots for the day(s). My 90+ year young mate is coming from Shaw for the event, with his son all the way from Paris! His other son is in Australia, so I think he can be excused for not attending!!

Me and 'Alfie' rode over to Rawtenstall this afternoon and saw 44871 and 34081.
"SQUADRON 92" (!) as it's called on the ELR website, looked well with the 'Devon Belle' embelishments. :)

With that and the Golden Arrow regalia that 34092 often wears the ELR could have a decent shout at recreating the Southern in the depths of the North.
