    Riley and Son posted on their social media accounts today that 44871 was at carnforth and would “move northwards” soon. So I can only imagine 871 will start the season up there.

    Well I take from that the diesel will lead to Craigendoran. And then RR. Usually for weight purposes they don’t double head over the WHL.

    Also I suppose means that the diesel can then haul the train from Fort William station to the Tom Na Faire Depot.

    Yeah quite possibly that too. Was kind of hopeful the steam might lead up to Craigendoran but I suspect not

    That's not a difficult one is it? The Jacobite is the flagship of WCR so you can expect, I reckon, a nice maroon set of rolling stock fitted with CDL.
