Thanks. Not as bad as I thought then, though we’d go prem class table for two etc.

Any update on when 34028 might be avaliable? Might be another contender for the Southern legs.

As far as I’m aware Day 1 is 35028 (Heard that from a fairly reliable MNLPS source), and then the rest are the 5’s/Tangmere if nothing changes Vac Stock wise.

Last update on the website was November.
No idea if anything has happened to the support coach yet or not.

    Thank you!

As we’re going to the Dresden Steam Fest immediately prior I think it would pushing my luck a step too far. One for next year when hopefully the motive power might be more varied too.

Errrr, not if the changes I made to one of the new USA presidents Executive Orders get implemented. Where I crossed out any reference to Mexico re wall building. And wrote in that the wall should start just north of London Waterloo station, then follow a route just north of the mainline from Waterloo to Salisbury, Exeter and then down to Weymouth. Using the word 'mainline' rather loosely when covering what the wr left between Salisbury and Exeter after they nucked that route on 7 September 1964.

45407 has been to Wick before, leading 44871 south on 18/4/11. I have this down as Torbreck, just out of Rogart on the climb to Lairg ( no decent notes so willing to be corrected).

Correct - I've got the almost exact same shot about half a loco length further forward.

Ah, the days of double headed steam north of Inverness. Sadly that's long gone with all the operational and rolling stock issues that now prevail.

My comment and pic was with regards to Thurso ;)

I was on the Great Britain in 2011 which did Wick along with this one in 2016 which did Thurso as part of 6 GB tours I did

Won't be on this year's as don't do air cons on steam tours
