Some times have appeared for Saturday’s Lakelander. Running only 7.5 mins in front of the NBelle at Shap. Any news of the LSL loco?

 

Same as last year. As Tangmere on Northern Belle was passing Paddy Lane, Brittania was showing on RTT as just leaving Grayrigg loop

 

Are Blue Peter and the B1 the only available locomotives at Crewe?

 

34046 through Wandsworth Road on time with today's Golden Arrow from Coventry to Canterbury West. Another full rake of Mk1's. Sounded great accelerating away towards Clapham High Street.

 

70000 Britannia? Not sure if at Crewe

 

Britannia is at Southall.

I am told it will be something Blue, and as the A4 will be at the NYMR still I’ll let the rest be worked out….

 

I hope it can "breathe in" when heading down the coast!

I am led to believe the current plan is to send the Lakelander with a generator van and the steam legs will be handled by the A2 only.

 

Unassisted steam in Mk1 coaches with opening windows? That will please a lot of people! I'm not on Saturday's, but I am on the one on 26th. Hopefully they'll do the same then (fire risk permitting!).
