A couple photos from Sunday and Monday of the gala. Thanks to all for still managing to put on an excellent event in the circumstances.

A very good job all round with the event turning a profit which is what matters the most. Everyone seemed to have a good time, and all the locos behaved. Couldn’t quite organise the weather for the whole thing, but suspect that helped keep us down to just 1 lineside fire all weekend.

I guess we’d better start looking at Autumn now…..Here we go again!

Excellent news, great to hear. Many thanks to yourself and the many others who organised it.

Thanks for a brilliant gala considering the unfortunate embankment slip. Went all four days and thoroughly enjoyed every day.

Thanks to all who have posted photos or videos of the gala, and pleased to hear that it was financially successful.

Unfortunately, I couldn't make the gala days, but did visit the SVR yesterday (Tuesday), when 6880 and 20048 were doing the honours on a two-train service. 7802, 45669 and 75069 were stabled at Bewdley, while 7812 was being shunted near to Kidderminster carriage works - perhaps being readied for its move to the WSR? Didn't spot the second Jubilee - either hiding or had already departed.

Sierra Leone/Gatalea left in the morning, 10.10 from KR.
7812 is leaving tomorrow. The loco part was being put on the low loader this afternoon.
