A day of tweaking and static tests, should hopefully run tomorrow. The MK3 stock has already been moved in preparation for loaded runs later on.

Looking like another day of inactivity. That's the 2nd run it's missed. A bit optimistic moving the sleepers.

Catching up with varying YouTube channels, after static testing on Thursday it made some limited light engine moves round Kidderminster yesterday, before getting a tow to Bewdley behind the class 33 with its support coach.
The air braked mark 3 coaches are parked in platform 3 ready for loaded testing next week (viewable from Bewdley webcam!).

From watching various videos, she doesn't seem to be using all three cylinders currently. She had very odd exhaust 'chuffs'.

I think that is the air pump not the locomotive.

You mean getting all of the cylinders working rather than just two?

At the moment, that seems a long way off. I don't think it's actually done a proper LE test run. happy to be proved wrong.

That was the original date for the members special. Latest Duke News dated 15th May had this statement in it:

"At close of play yesterday an assessment was made on the work still to be completed and the availability of resources, including line availability at the Severn Valley to complete the testing and running in. It is now clear that we do not have time to finish all of this in time before the Members' trip on 4 June 2025. It is now clear that the resolving of problems that typically arise at this stage of commissioning a steam locomotive that has undertaken a complete ground up rebuild are taking longer than hoped and it will be sensible to postpone the Members trip to a later date when certainty can be assured. It has been decided to defer this date for at least one month."
