Paddle Steamer Waverley

Nice picture, last time I did that was in torrential rain and I doubt anyone was there to photograph it! Must do it again some time.

 

Nice evening trip on the Waverley tonight, just a couple of hours from Portishead on the Severn Seas. Under both motorway bridges and back again. Lovely stuff.

 

I am very impressed by the distances she covers around our coastline. They seem very keen on exposeing her to as large an audiance as possible. I was on her only a fortnight ago sailing past the Ardnamurchan peninsular on her final Hebridean cruise of the year. Now she is cruiseing the Bristol Channel. Here she is at Tobermory in the evening on her way back to Oban after the Mull passengers had disembarked.
