    I say this without a hint of irony, but Leek has actually become a bit of a food and drink hotspot.

    Plenty of good, independent places in town.

    And anywhere with a titanic brewery pub is worth a visit…

    Well, enjoyed a great day rail, ale, trailing again. Seemed busy Saturday so hopefully it’s done well for the railway.

    The beer cards seemed to go down a storm and bought even more people this year and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

    Fingers crossed next year may be able to get on/off at leek in some form or fashion and will happily contribute to the local hospitality economy. Although given what I saw this year I get the feeling it could get extremely busy!
