After a 600-mile journey home, I can now present my footage to you.

A big Thank you to the Ffestiniog planning team.

Just about recovered from the fantastic weekend and a long slog of a journey home yesterday.
Was a truly superb event, incredibly ambitious with so many complex moving parts and the team did a great job dealing with all the unexpected challenges.
Everyone involved, both front and back of house, deserves a massive amount of kudos for pulling it off.

Special thanks to those who helped my elderly in-laws enjoy the weekend as much as possible, from helping with loading/unloading their mobility scooter, having a good old chinwag with them and letting them watch the cavalcade from the parked up WHR set when it got too cold and wet for them on the platform!

A worthy celebration of Railway 200 and the FR's 70th anniversary!

34 minutes of action from three very enjoyable days - an absolutely impressive event - such a fantastic spectacle of narrow gauge steam, rolling stock, stations, track, staff and volunteers - all combining to represent the best in the preservation movement in this special year. Congratulations to all those involved in the organisation and operation - and to the many unseen heroes behind the scenes, present and past, who have collectively recreated such a thriving railway!
