Can confirm it was dragged through New St earlier today by a skip. A few out for it but not overly busy.

Something looks to have gone on with it at Humberstone Road giving quite a delay.

Is whether the regulator being opened not a better judge of whether something was dragged or not? (Not commenting on whether it was or wasn't in this instance, just the principle).

70000 nearly home at Millmeece this afternoon. Wonder why it didn't join the party at Derby ?

Wasn't it under repair after a failure on a recent tour?
    Big end failure I think.

Maybe the maintainers couldn't be sure of it being repaired in time.

Could be both the A1 and A3 I suppose, now that DB operates both locomotives? Means the A1 is back closer to home too.

That would make sense, move 2 locos in one move as opposed to 2 separate ones. There is a light engine move from Toton to Litchurch Lane : https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:U60843/2025-08-03/detailed which I assume is for that move, although there was a DB 67 already with Scotsman at Alstom which I presume still is?
