Looks like Tangmere passed its test today, just received a txt from RTC confirming it for Sundays ‘Waverley’

 

Looking at RTT, Tangmere will just be doing Hellifield - Carlisle - Hellifield on Sunday.

 

34067 near Cotehill with the northbound Waverley, 17.08.25.

 

Arriving at Carlisle this afternoon with 57010 behind the tender doing most of the work. Seen from St Nicholas Bridges.

Whernside Fell, a chuffer and a Public House what more do you want in a picture, No. 34067 'Tangmere' works the return 'Waverley' 1Z43 over Ribblehead Viaduct towards the station and onwards to York with Mick Kelly driving, Martyn Soames on the shovel and Steve Adams Guard. Once the show was over I enjoyed a very nice meal at the Station Inn well recommended.

 

@Shep Woolley , there must have been tens of thousands of pictures taken of steam trains on the S&C, yet you still manage to find something different every time you post. They really are works of art.

With a fortunate break from the rain and a lucky sight of sunshine SR BoB class No. 34067 'Tangmere' works the return 'Waverley' over Crosby Garrett viaduct towards Kirkby Stephen and onwards to York with David Blair driving, Martyn Soames on the shovel and Steve Adams Guard

 

Don't forget, too, that for the gents, it's "A loo with a view"
