    Despite the dull day, this wonderful event shined. Perfect locos, lovely atmosphere...and the most exquisitely restored coaches running in the north(?). The reconstructed signal box sets a very high standard too. If you're lucky enough to be heading over in the sunshine of the next 2 days, here's an idea of what to expect...

    Lovely first time visit to the railway, very friendly staff and a good turnout it seemed too! Here's a short video of day, topped off with a parallel run featuring both visiting locos!
