    Ouch. Is that a real photograph or is it an AI generated image? Either way the colour is really awful, at least in my opinion.

    The colour depends on (1) Film stock and (2) Processing. Those of us who used AGFA in 1968 know all about colour balances hence would accept the colouring of this image

    But that image looks digital, not film. And what I accept of a 1968 photo is not what I look to now.

    But the photo is all of 5 days old! At least according to when it was posted to Facebook. (The creator just seems to like that weird high contrast style, judging by some of his other photos).

    You can split the chroma image from the B&W image, manipulate them separately, then recombine. The result has this 'plastic' feel to it depending upon what you've played around with.
