With tours having only just started this year thought I would pop out to see today's Nottingham to Weymouth.
Bonus was two green 47's, very BR.
Of course with a 14:30 hospital appointment (at Poole in my mind and locations planned) the down and up trains would bookend it nicely. Especially as any tours have been very sparse this year down here.
That all went a bit Pete Tong when on Saturday morning whilst chatting with the morning turn guard at Swanage a text arrived reminding me of my appointment at Swanage Hospital. So it became Wareham and Wool with a trip back to Swanage in between.
The NR "arboretum" continues to restrict the shot at Wareham, or even seeing the train approaching too well anymore.
For those interested in details D1924 was on the Weymouth end and D1935 the other. DSC_0226_2R.JPG DSC_0234R.JPG DSC_0235R.JPG
