Gwsr rail 200. 27th-28th September

    This weekend sees the Gwsr celebrating the rail 200 anniversary.titled Gwsr, past present and future, there will be access to the steam shed and machine shop at Toddington with access to the cabs of both steam and diesel locomotives.

    Two marquees in the carpark will house volunteers from the departments around the railway where visitors can see exhibits and ask questions. Winchcombe carriage and wagon will be open whist Gotherington is having a Victorian makeover for the weekend.
    An intensive service will run with three coach sets and the demonstration goods.

    steam (subject to availability) 35006, 2807 and 6880 all weekend.
    Diesels Saturday will be 26043, 37215, 47105 and 20137. Sunday will be 47105, 47376, 37215 and our two class 20’s doubling up.
