The one with Southern Steam is that channel yes. The one with all the other loco documentaries I mentioned is a channel called Stash- Free Documentaries.

2999 ‘Lady of Legend’ is now additionally rostered on the 4/5 October on the A Set.

6989 ‘Wightwick Hall’ is also due to return in time for the October holiday services (from October 25th).

With all due respect to the Bluebell, I wasn't going to rush lunch on this occasion… it's consistently a very special place to go, definitely recommended for special occasions (though I suspect I'd've got a few more drinks for my dime at the beer festival)… ;)

I don't like it as much as when Peter Herbert owned it.

I went to the beer festival on Sunday, was there all day and didn't get so much as a single sip for my troubles! Did probably have the best seat in the house though ...

It’s due to be on the A Set both this weekend (27/28 September) and next weekend (4/5 October). It is also rostered to run the Golden Arrow Diner on the 27th.

Looking at the webcam set A is 80151 today. I'm hoping 2999 is on set B.

Edit: Webcams showing 2999 is currently watering on platform 2 at Sheffield Park. So hopefully, it's on set B.

Edit 2: Webcams show it on set B. With the Brighton 1st 4 wheeler behind.

Some pictures of 6989 in it's new livery (well except the tender) on the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre's Facebook. I think it's returning to the Bluebell after a short stint back at Quinton Road.

Livery appears almost identical to 5972's but with a black painted running plate and silver painted smokebox dart and door hinges with numberplate and shed plate.

It’ll be back at the Bluebell soon after Giants of Steam - I believe its last running day at Quainton is the 19th October, and according to our roster is currently due to run at the end of October.

I posted this on the Hogwarts Express page.
Finally we get to see Wightwick Hall in her new red livery. Who saw come back home for a few weeks after her first filming session for the new Harry Potter TV series, where she’ll be playing the role of the Hogwarts Express loco:

The BRC have posted further pictures, showing the loco reunited with its tender. Unless any crests or emblems have been removed after filming or covered over, is only fully lined out.

I wonder if there's an arrangement that 6989 will regularly make brief returns to the BRC, as well as remaining a longer term Bluebell resident. Would certainly benefit both parties, even if the loco's number on the series seems to be 5977 rather than it's own 6989.

Both the Goods Division FB, and Dave Clarke's Flickr site keep making reference to an upcoming "filming job" which is involving much intense refurb work to 2 tank wagons, plus surgery to 2 Medfits, apparently to make them also resemble tank wagons. Anyone know what this is about?

Many film contracts come with confidentiality clauses (dates, locations, what is being made etc) so normally they only get revealed in retrospect.

Right. Still, a great way of turning round the 2 tank wagons quickly. Whatever it is, should be interesting.

No idea about the upcoming filming job, but I recall there was a similar situation in 2023, when the Goods Division had help prepare several wagons for a filming job, which turned out to be the Apple TV film Blitz (where 44932 was brought in for the filming and some Bluebell carriages were taken North for filming at Hull).
