    Yes, but I was wondering why WCRC felt the need to send 37516 to Hellifield for the leg to Lancaster, when 34067 was on the rear. AN

    I would guess that it was in case the problem that arose with Tangmere could not be sorted before the due departure time from Carlisle and she was left there, and that the 37 would be ready at Hellifield to haul the train to Carnforth and Lancaster.
